Nine years later, behavioral interactive finally brought five nights at Freddie I died in the daytime – And Matthew Lillard is looking forward to it.
This is a collaboration that has been working on for a while, but up until today’s Daylight Packs East presentation, we were ready to reveal exactly how the studio would scare players as the asymmetric multiplayer game approached its ninth birthday. Plans for this year’s anniversary chapter of Freddie Fazvia and his animatronic-filled pizza emporium headline Behviour is expected to arrive in June.
Starring as William Afton for five nights in 2023’s Freddy’s Movie Adaption, Lillard once again embodies the spirit of the role, recording a new line of voice for Dead by SpringTrap, Daylight’s latest murderer. This evil animatronic bunny is known as a yellow rabbit or spring bonnie, but once the collection finally arrives, it can be used as legendary clothing.
The action will be five nights on Freddie’s “most requested license in the history of daylights,” so fans should be excited to hear that the drop of content will also include a pizza map of Freddie Fas Bear, which is said to be filled with Easter egg buffets and a surprise buffet. Other news, including specific release dates, is expected to arrive in the near future.

The wind howling
Five nights in the Freddie’s Dead by Daylight crossover have been around for a long time, but it’s not the only game collaboration on the cards. Also revealed on Pax East is the news that CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher series is set to appear in Behviour’s hit horror experience.
The set will mark it as a special Witcher collection on June 3rd and include costumes inspired by the popular fantasy RPG universe. This includes legendary works inspired by White Wolf himself, Geralt of Libyan, and very unusual outfits by Yennefer, Ciri, Triss and Eredin. As an additional bonus, anyone who gets a Geralt costume will notice that original voice actor Doug Cockle has just contributed a new audio line on the occasion.
“Of course, our favorite in our collection is the legendary costume of Geralt’s Vittorio Toscano,” Dead by Daylight Product Director Rose Li said in a statement. “In addition to taking on the exact look of the white wolf essentially, we’ve added some really great details as part of this outfit. Geralt has a unique lobby animation and, above all, a brand new audio line recorded in our game by the original voice actor Doug Cockle.”
Dragura, a drug-riality competition series based on trembling monsters, has also doubled its relationship with Daylight. Players look forward to welcoming the Boulet Brothers collection on July 8th.
Blood, sweat, tears
Behavior’s Pax East Showcase also included a promise that the team would provide new quality of life updates after 2025. June highlights include improved archives and adjusted gamma settings. A few months ahead, there will be an update that adds more audiences to custom matches, map and key item rebalance, MMR rework, and more balanced tweaks.
Creative Director Dabricherd also teased something entirely new. It’s a move to see actions that work with the community to create killers and survivors from scratch so that their actions sound like their adventure-style stories. It is scheduled to be released in 2026, so you will have to wait a while to learn more.
The daylight, released in 2016, is dead and has only grown since. Other crossover collections include content based on Dungeons and Dragons, resident eviland Tokyo Ghoul.
