If you didn’t know, Bend Studio’s Days is the latest PlayStation game to get remastered treatments and will be available from next week.
For those interested in the improvements the developers are adding to the zombie games, the planned technical specifications have been revealed, and they look quite like an upgrade.
The day has passed since I was able to get multiple graphical and PEFORMANCE modes on my PS5 and PS5 Pro
Bend Studio has revealed the graphical modes that PS5 and PS5 Pro players can expect when the game launches next week.
Base PS5:
- performance: 1440p/target 60fps
- quality: Native 4K/Target 30fps*
The studio says the base PS5 rendering settings are equivalent to “best” on a PC.
PS5:
- performance: 1800p/target 60fps
- quality: 2880p/target 30fps*
- Enhancement: 60 fps target using 1584p/PSSR
The PS5 Pro quality mode is sampled from 4K or higher. All modes for both the PS5 and the PS5 Pro are output in 4K. Players should also expect patches to be released per 40 frames, but no time frame is given for that.
In addition to the above settings, Bend Studio also has some graphical improvements that affect the game’s world when compared to the PS4 and PC versions.
Global improvements:
- New Atmospheric/Spatial Simulation Using Ozone and Spectral Optical Simulations
- Improves overall color tone and produces more accurate light intensity for the sky and sunlight
- Quite a dark night
- Improved screen space indirect lighting and surrounding occlusion effects
- Double Shadow Map Resolution
- Additional improvements
For PC players, you’ll see a leading update of improvements, even if you haven’t purchased a $10 upgrade to your Broken Road DLC.

Remastered will be released on PS5 and PC on April 25th. There are graphical and performance improvements, but make the overall gameplay experience the same. This is not a bad thing.
