Dave Bautista and his production company Dogbone Entertainment will develop Steve Lerner’s new story, Cat Assassin, for a new franchise that includes animated series, video games and steps into the publishing space.
Rana is the author behind the beloved Annapurna interactive game. Having achieved huge successes with Guardians of the Galaxy, Dune, and Blade Runner 2049, Bautista has creative input on the franchise being developed alongside Titan1studios.
Here is the official cat assassin blurb:
Set in a rough neoir world of inhabited by all types of personified cats, Cat Assassin concentrates on Hugh, a highly skilled assassin caught between various cartels and power brokers in a dark, twisted city. The franchise promises a unique blend of humor, action and stealth.
“It was a joy to work with Titan1studios at Cat Assassin,” Bautista said in a statement. “Their ability to build worlds through animation is very impressive and they have created a truly unique world in this game, so I can’t wait to share it with the players.”
Titan1Studios is currently working on a franchise stealth action game, inspired by “Assassin’s Creed’s immersive gameplay, tactical spy of split-cells, the enormous cat agility of nuisances, and Sifu’s fluid combat,” and “setting the tone for vast inconsistencies.”
