It seems like Sonic Racing. Crossworlds could be combining more worlds than we expected. All this news comes from insiders who are supposed to be X’s insiders whose accounts have been deleted.
Sonic Racing: Crossworlds isn’t just going beyond the world in racing, but it also intersects with other franchises such as SpongeBob Squarepants, Teen Mutant Ninja Turtles, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Minnecraft.
The Spongebob news featured footage from an older build for the original switch, but unfortunately it was lost when the leak profile was removed.
Other details seem to come from an older presentation when the game was called Sonic Racing: Gate Traveler.
Crossover trucks, vehicles, etc.
The insider also claimed that the game includes an event in the Splatfest style known as the “Festival,” but has been shown to date to be related to SpongeBob content.
The player will join a team (in this case Team SpongeBob, Team Patrick, Team Squid) and earn team points, and at the end one team is declared the winner. There are also festival cosmetic rewards, including a standard multiplayer game assortment of car decals, title plates and car horn effects.
The only playable characters revealed by Leaker were SpongeBob himself and Patrick. That he appears to be paid for DLC after launch.
The Leaker also showed off concept art for the vehicle based on the avatars TMNT and AANG. They also showed off the final airbender, as well as the extreme gear from Aang.
Paramount also owns Nickelodeon, so these non-game crossovers are possible thanks to Sega’s Paramount Connections from the Sonic Movie Series.
Repeat that much of this information seems to have been a few months ago. Plans may have changed, especially considering that all these crossover elements appear to be post-release DLC. And, of course, like all leaks, they should be consumed with a single grain of salt, regardless of how much evidence they have to back up.
