Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline has a lot of cut content discovered, and in some cases restored by fans. So the code related to multiplayer modes that did not end has been known for some time.
fall out Creator Tim Kane, who came to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Project later mentioned the cut counter strike style mode in the past, dubbing it as “counter.” In a new video on his YouTube channel, Cain provided a detailed breakdown of how the mode worked if it was shipped.
Vampire: Masquerade – The bloodline had almost human V. Kindred Multiplayer
According to Cain, the multiplayer mode involved a vampire team with a team of human vampire hunters working on Leopold’s new order. The idea was that vampires have supernatural powers, humans have better weapons and have a unique field of their own.
There are nine “teams” in the game. Camarilla (comprised of all playable clans), the new order of Leopold, seven clans can fight vampires. After each round, players earn money, and after each map spin, they earn experience points, everything is spent on gear and power.
Interestingly, the masquerade effectively means humans hang around the map and break it (also known as revealing the existence of vampires), resulting in less cash and points. This concept will continue to be used by the now-destroyed Battle Royale Vampire: Masquerade – many years later.
The mode included “Team Elimination.” This includes killing other teams. “Bloodhunt”, one player must run away from the other player. “Kine.” Teams must protect humans while stealing teams protected by other teams. And then “embrace” is where the Leopold team has to stop vampires from turning NPCs into their own kind.
Unfortunately for the Vampire: Masquerade – Pedigree, single-player mode barely left the gate. Ironically, it was absolutely broken by sales by another small game released at the same time with another small game released by Valve. It’s called Half Life 2.
