The price of Borderlands 4 has been officially confirmed as pre-order listings for this morning’s game were released as standard, Deluxe Edition and Super Deluxe Edition. The first wave of pre-orders included only the digital version of the game, but Amazon jumped later in the day with the first round of physical copy.
These new Amazon listings are currently only for the PS5 and Xbox versions of the game, and currently only two editions are available for pre-order only. This is Standardand Super Deluxe. You can check the pre-order page using the link below. The current release date is set to September 12, 2025 for the console and PC versions of the game. There is no release date for the Switch 2 version yet, but it’s coming someday in 2025.
Pre-Order Borders 4-Physical Copy
Standard Edition – $69.99
The standard version of the game sounds exactly like that, but you’ll get a pre-order bonus if you buy it before the game is released. Along the game itself, you will receive a golden glory pack featuring Vault Hunter skin, weapon skin and Echo 4 drone skin. The only other bonus is Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee. This is only useful if Amazon lowers the price before the game ships.
Super Deluxe Edition- $129.99
The Super Deluxe Edition of the game includes the same golden glory pack as the pre-order bonus. In addition to that, it includes a special edition game case and other additional additional content. Here’s a brief summary of what you get different from the standard edition.

Art of Borderlands 4 is now available for pre-order
In addition to two versions of the game, it’s now available for pre-order on Amazon, but there’s also a very cool artbook that’s scheduled to be released later in September. Art of Borderlands 4 is currently scheduled to be released on September 30th, 2025 for $55. This book features 224 pages on art and development for upcoming games.
What is Amazon’s Pre-Order Price Guarantee?
If you have never actually pre-ordered from Amazon, please note that if you purchase this artbook before the release date, it includes Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee. According to Amazon’s own help page, this means that prices will drop when items are shipped from now and when they are paid the lowest price. So in this case, if any of these editions of the game were discounted before they actually started shipping, they would pay anything they dropped, not the full price.
While not all pre-orders are discounted, the game’s physics editions rarely seem to have a lower price, especially compared to other product categories.
