This year’s Call of Duty game was revealed on the Xbox Games Showcase over the weekend. The Xbox Boss Phil Spencer has announced the Black Ops 7. This is the first time in history as Call of Duty adopts an annual release schedule.
If you’re a fan of the Black Ops series, you’re probably already looking forward to the release. For those who pre-order first-person shooter games every year, you can do it for BO7 right away.
How quickly? Start next week, at least according to some online users.
Pre-orders for Black Ops 7 kick off next week
This information comes from Charlie Intel, creator of Call of Duty Content. He shared that pre-orders begin on June 20th include posters.
Activision hasn’t said anything yet, so this date can be inaccurate. Pre-order bonuses include early access to betas over the past few years.
The big question here is how much is the game? Outer World 2 is priced at $80 on all platforms, will Microsoft push this price for Call of Duty? For Xbox gamers, this probably won’t be a problem considering it will be released on the first day of Game Pass, but for the rest of us? Yes, it’ll sting if the game’s biggest multiplayer shooter franchise raises the price.
More details on Black Ops 7 are outside Activision’s press release, saying, “Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7, Treyarch and Raven software bring players the most heart-warming Black Ops ever. With David Mason in mind, you’ll have to fight more than anything else against a manipulative enemy that uses fear as a weapon.”
Based on the statement, we can expect weapons of the future, which could also involve sophisticated movements. Hopefully, the publisher will dial the leather madness, but we all know (you can hope) that it won’t happen.
Black Ops 7 doesn’t have a release date yet, but if history is any indication, it should come out in the last week of October or the first week of November. For reference, Black Ops 6 was released on October 25th, 2024. This was Friday. Hopefully more details about the game will be revealed in the coming months.
