Assassin’s Creed Shadows Developers Are “Actively Looking At” Ways to Bring Harder Difficulty Options

It’s been just over a week since the release of Shadow of the assassin’s beliefsCreative Director Jonathan Dumont revealed that the game’s development team is exploring ways to provide players with a more challenging experience. Speaking to Gamesradar at GDC 2025, Dumont said that player feedback about the difficulty options being deaf.

According to Dumont, the team is working on an update Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs “Always listen and monitor what players are doing” to bring timely bug fixes and other potential features to the line.

Dumont also spoke about how the studio is “actively watching” in the way that “it can even pose even more difficult challenges for some players.” He didn’t elaborate on what this difficult challenge entails, but given the hybrid mix of RPG and stealth gameplay, it becomes an interesting exercise. “How rewarding is it?” asked Dumont. “But we see these things and watch what people say about the game.”

He also talked about the diversity of feedback Ubisoft is getting. Shadow of the assassin’s beliefsand how the development team cannot take all proposals into consideration for future updates.

“Obviously, we can’t do everything, but we do have to act. There are very few bug fixes and feature enhancements that come in just for the next update,” Dumont says. “I can’t just make a list, there’s quite a lot of it, so the team is constantly working on improving the game.

Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs On March 20th, PC, PS5, and Xbox series X/s were hits. However, there was considerable uncertainty about the game as the release dates are always behind until it was released. In another interview, Dumont revealed that the development team actually uses delays to further refine Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs.

“Not,” replied Dumont. Dumont also talked about some of the additions the team was able to make. Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs It includes additional character moments that will further help develop the relationship thanks to delays. “It’s kind of cool that we were approaching launching, and we can get this extra time to do what you’re doing the last thing,” he said.
