Doom: The Dark Ages Ruby and Wraithstone items are used to upgrade the player’s arms and armor.
Players need to work hard to find everything, as they are often hidden in enemies and puzzles.

Not all chapters have Ruby or Wraithstone, so unless you mention the following, there is nothing.
Chapter 4 – Sentinel Barracks
This is quickly found as part of the tutorial.
Find the broken bridge and turn around and you’ll see the area under the climbing wall. This leads to rubies.
Chapter 5 – The Holy City of Aratam
It’s behind a locked door. Find and search for the green switch. There is a fragile red lock that can be broken with a shield. This will drop the stone onto the switch, allowing you to keep the door open and grab the ruby.
After destroying four ships and killing a great demon, they fly to the bottom of the Citadel and see two turrets. Destroy them and open the landing pad. Look for the green switch that raises the red fragile link. This can be destroyed with a shield.
This opens the way to the waters. Swim and look for pressure wheels. The water is low and you can access the red key card. Find the blue jump pad. It fires you into the air and allows you to access the chamber with a ruby.
Chapter 6 – Siege – Part 1
Turn the corner and follow the gold, hit the blue shield point, find the switch and activate it. This opens the door to the ruby.
Go here when you have a secret key to get another ruby.
Kill everything in this area and unlock the ruby.
Ruby in this part of the map is trapped in the water. To solve the puzzle, throw a shield at the blue power spot above the gate to reveal the ruby.
Chapter 7 – Siege – Part 2
Once you have obtained the secret key from your previous secret, go down into the courtyard and unlock the door leading to Ruby.
Another blatantly simple thing. As you proceed along the stage you will find a ruby on top of the crane. Find a wooden frame with a climbing point at the base of the crane.
Chapter 8 – Abyssal Forest
You will need to drop the shelves seen on the map above. This leads to a small underground area with water for swimming. The ruby statue is waiting for the other side and has a red lock that can be smashed back to the main pass.
Once you reach two broken towers, you will find multiple platforms with gold pieces. Follow them to get the rubies.
Chapter 9 – Forge of the Ancestors
Ruby – This secret requires a little jump to reach, but it’s pretty easy to reach.
Ruby – This is hidden behind a locked gate. Looking at the wall on the right, you will see a blue shield bash spot. This reveals a new corridor with red, fragile links. Throwing the shield will lift the gate and allow access to the ruby.
Wraith Stone – To unlock the first wraith stone, access the locations on the three maps above and crush the wolf statue with your shield.
Chapter 10 – The Abandoned Hirano
Use your secret key to open this door. You must be locked in a room and fight the enemy. Once you leave, you can charge a ruby.
Use the secret key to enter this area with a ruby.
Use the Smashing Great as a lift to reach the next floor and grab the ruby.
This wraithstone is at the end of the stage after killing all enemies in the final section.
Chapter 12 – Sentinel Command
Continue passing through the level, then pass through the hole at the location on the map above.
Chapter 14 – Spire of Nerathur
On the boat, you will fall to the bottom floor where you can see on the map. There is a blue jump pad. This will send you to the shelf where gold and rubies are waiting.
After landing on the first dragon section, immediately head towards the water and swim. There is a corridor leading to a secret room with rubies.
Once you have unlocked your final target, look for a landing zone near the bottom of the stage. Find a nearby archway, unlock the new landing zone and reach the secret area. Here you will find the weapon skin and the wraith stone.
Climb the dragon, as high as possible, heading towards the large mountains in the distance. There’s a giant demon you can fire. Killing the Devil opens the landing pad and accesses an area where you can find another Wraithstone.
Chapter 15 – Ry’uul City
Proceed through levels until you unlock Dreadmace. There is a chamber (see on the map) with a blue shield spot on the ceiling. Throw your shield and the floor slides down and you can see the water. When you go down into the water, you will swim in a room with a ruby statue.
Continue along the stage until you find an upgrade station. There is a blue shield bash spot on the wall for battle. This reduces the location where Agdon Hunter toys can be found. The wraith stone is on the shelf above it.
Go to the area marked on the map and find the ruby later in the stage.
Chapter 16 – Kartul Wetlands
Go to the wolf statue and fall on the shelf below. There is a door with a small green light that can be opened without a key. Once you enter, you will be transported to a new area. You will be teleported above the block in the middle of the room as you swim to the bottom of the pool.
Throw a shield into the red lock above the gate to reveal the eyelock. Go to the Eye Gate, line it up with green eyes, throw a shield, and it moves the gate blocking the ruby statue. Use the underwater portal again. This allows you to be placed in a block and jump into Ruby.
Chapter 16: Location of the Wraith Stone and Wolf Statues
One of the secrets of Chapter 16 is to unlock the Wraithstone by destroying four wolf statues. The location of their maps can be seen in the image gallery above.
Chapter 17 – The Temple of Romaris
This ruby is hard to miss. It is located on the bridge above the opening. Kill the monsters and follow the paths around you to get it.
Go to an area on the map and hit the blue shield wall. This leads to areas filled with monsters and no map data. After killing a monster, drop down into something that looks like a dead area and you’ll arrive at the dungeon below where the Wraithstone is found.
Once you have your secret key, you can open the door next to the upgrade station and find the ruby.
Chapter 18 – The Belly of the Beast
Instead of moving towards your goal, you turn backwards and jump into the area with the ruby.
Chapter 19 – Port of the Soul
In this area, jump to the Smashing Metal Platform, look for a blue shield spot, and open the door under the door that throws a shield and leads to the Ruby.
This area has a circular platform. Clear all enemies from the area and look for a blue shield spot around the corner. The platform starts moving, so get ready to throw it and run/jump it! The Wraithstone is waiting at the top.
Chapter 20 – Resurrection
This ruby is located in a blue key. Look for the northeast corner of the map with tunnels protected by orange spikes where the cab is destroyed by shields.
Break the Gore Portal and kill everything and unlock the Ruby.
Once you have the blue key, move to this location and unlock the door. Kill the monster inside and claim Ruby.
Chapter 20: Location of the Wraith Stone and Wolf Statues
One of the wreath stones is unlocked by destroying the above wolf statue with a shield.
Chapter 22 – Calculation
Instead of following pieces of green armor, if you follow a path made of flesh, you will fall into an area with a ruby statue.
This is simple. Simply splitting from objective points and chasing the sigils of life. There is a simple blue panel puzzle that lowers the climbing point, leading to a ruby.

After obtaining the secret key, head towards this point on the map and unlock the door where you can find the ruby.
