As part of patch 7.25, ffxiv Players can explore Occult CrescentLearn about the ruins and creatures that roam the area. As part of the area’s quest line, you should actually look for something specific Research Pointsshining bits on the map you can interact with.
If you want to participate in the 48-person dungeon “The Froked Towers,” you will need to find quest-related research points, as they will not be unlocked until you finish the quest “Past and the Crescent.”

Please note that there are additional research points as they are not on the Southhorn map, as there is an additional research point, which means entering the Phantom Village on the west side of the stairs.
Each of these quests requires a numbered survey point.
The research points only account for a portion of the occult records found in small booklets. Others can be obtained by completing important encounters and quests.
