Tomorrow brings a new season of Diablo 4, which comes with many changes. The fascinating patch notes are here to help clarify what’s going forward.
The changes are fairly extensive and Blizzard has not kept a secret how he intends to tackle future games. The patch notes for Season 8 are very tackling, but detailing is how it made the game’s bosses even more deadly.
Endgame bosses – now “Lair Bosses” – is a bit harder to defeat as Lair Boss Keys promises a new reward system.
Belial is the headliner here and for obvious reasons, he has seen a bit of a power boost following the PTR beta test. More damage, more tricks, and more in general – a higher health pool means seeing more Belials before reaching victory.
And he’s not alone here. All the other Lair Boss got a power boost from this patch, so it’s easier to list things in places where things aren’t fatal (thank you GameSpot). Varshan takes that title. Varshan’s tormented echoes have become easier to read.

Druids has gained some of their own buffs, including passive damage that increases by 90% from the Ravens’ 31%. Rogues, Necromancers and Magicians also got some special treats – again, you can see the official patch notes due to the number breakdown.
