The trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Promstrisonment confirmed that the game will be released in winter 2025 on the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
There was not much footage displayed for the game, but fans saw Princess Zelda fighting alongside the Zonai Warriors. A younger version of Ganondorf was also briefly shown during the trailer.
It’s a shame that the first Nintendo Switch 2 Direct didn’t feature a teaser for the new mainline entry for the Legend of Zelda series, but the fact that fans are getting the new Hyrule Warriors is reason enough to celebrate. Age of Calamity was a great game that was disappointing due to the hardware on the Nintendo Switch. So we hope that the sequel doesn’t face these issues with Nintendo’s brand new console.
