The latest Call of Duty, Black Ops 6, has had a very successful launch.
In our review, “Black Ops 6 was Call of Duty, what Battlefield 3 was in the series, and ultimately provided an alternative to the repetitive formula. Now Activision and Treyarch are built on it.” Sadly, it doesn’t seem like they’re building it properly on it.
Fans have been unhappy with the recent updates on Season 4 on sale. On Black Ops 6 Subreddit, one user noticed an ad on the loadout screen.
Worst of all, this isn’t just a thread on topic. Some posts on the game’s subreddit ask the same: Why are there advertisements on the loadout page? One post jokes, “Why did they add guns to my microtransaction page?”
Don’t forget that this is not in their free-to-play battle royale, Warzone. It’s a Black Ops 6 with a price tag of $80. Watching ads while already paying for cute pennies will only confuse your player base.
Call of Duty Fans Express Frustration in Season 4
On the plus side, some community members are doing their best to take that roughly. “At least the store is attracting attention! lol,” he joked. But others are not happy.
“They didn’t even fix a quarter of the bugs they introduced within the last few seasons,” says Call of Duty fans.
“We also already admitted that the bunch of bugs on the Trello board weren’t fixed in this update either.”
Most people feel their development team has already made it to the next release, saying, “They don’t care anymore, and you shouldn’t do that either.”
This is completely different from the current state of the game. This was the best in Call of Duty History. Adding Call of Duty to Xbox Game Pass has allowed more players to participate than ever before. But those players seem tired and have plenty of it.
This is not the first time a Black Ops 6 player has been upset. Last December, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the Squid Game Battle Pass.
