  • Hard Mode: Drum Sound Easter Egg

All the Easter eggs in question replicate GameCube’s original Tinkly (and often memmed) startup animations to the switch, along with one alternative startup sequence that was included in GameCube. It’s a nostalgia of the GameCube era. This is back with Switch 2’s exclusive Nintendo Switch Online Game Offerings. At launch, you can switch between two owners with Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack memberships and play The Legend of Zelda: Windowwaker, Soulcalibur 2and f-zero gx. I’m expecting more to come.

If you want to attract friends and family who will remind you of Nintendo games early, here are some ways to access the three Switch 2 GameCube Easter Eggs:

Easter eggs with a squeal sound

Hard Mode: Drum Sound Easter Egg

While Switch 2 could be Nintendo’s main focus at the moment, it’s clear that the gaming giant still has its soft spots from its previous consoles, especially its beloved GameCube.
