Splitgate 2 Launches on June 6th, “Major Surprise” Coming at Summer Game Fest

After releasing the open beta late last month, the 1047 Games confirmed it Split Gate 2 It will be released completely on June 6th. Portal-centric shooter games are now available on Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, with new trailers highlighting the more emotional aspects of competitive multiplayer.

But that’s not all. A “big surprise” is promised this summer, and will be revealed at the Summer Game Fest Showcase. Nothing is known about that, but 1047 Game told Game Informa that this is the “bigest part” of free shooting games. Perhaps it has something to do with the uncharacteristic launch trailer.

You have to wait and find it. Split Gate 2 Beta offers nine maps, three modes, battle passes to gain cosmetics, new power weapons, and labs that players can use to create custom maps. Based on the roadmap, version 1.0 shows the arrival of a new mode, in-game event, another new power weapon, and a mapmaker competition this summer.

It also marks the beginning of monthly map releases, including Reskins and changes (not outlined yet). Stay tuned as the future promises more skins, weapons, maps, modes and events.
