The mysterious and surreal world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 contains many strange creatures and characters. Among them is an animated beast known as the Nevron.

In many of the game’s major regions, usually in devastated states, white painted nebrons are found and can be assisted in exchange for unique rewards such as weapons, costumes, and pictos.

Not all white nevrons will be revealed immediately at first, and some of them will require you to move off the beaten path. However, these unique side quests are still worth looking for.

Every time you meet a friendly Nebron, you are given the option to not kill or spare it. If you don’t spare all the nevrons, the last nevron, Blanche, will reward players 100 times more, so it’s worth taking into account that before attacking any of them.

Bottle (spring meadow)

The first white nebron you come across is a jar of spring meadows. It is located near the Indigo Tree and may be encountered as you progress through the Main Story event.

In this Nebron, some “light” must be retrieved for him. The best way to do so is to go through the blue-lit corridor. There you will encounter the latest Lanseria and two Lanseria.

After defeating them, head towards an area overgrown with blue roots and retrieve purple items from nearby mountains of barrels.

If you hand over a quest, you will be rewarded with an A, but it is not there. You can choose to attack the jar if necessary, and earn 3x and 1x more.

Deminur (flying water)

In flight water near the ship of Expedition 68, as you pass through the entrance to a large circular jar, you will see many large sea mines standing still in the water around him.

This particular Nebron asks to retrieve his bomb for him. To do so, you will need to descend nearby rock formations and jump over them until you reach a small settlement on the other side of the valley.

From here you can retrieve the mines highlighted in purple. If you fall off the platform while trying to put the platform up, go back in the direction of Deminur, climb the handle and start over again.

You can retrieve the mine and hand it over to Neburon before choosing to spare him or attack him.

Little Bourjong (ancient sanctuary)

From the ancient sanctuary portal you can find white nebrons heading west along the continent until you reach an area called little Bourjong.

Once inside, you will see a white painted burhuon, smaller than a regular burjun. They ask to retrieve Bourjong’s skin for him to reunite with his mistress.

You can retrieve this by defeating a burjong near the continent. It can be found well eastward in both open continents and areas such as flying waters.

Once you manage to defeat one, return your skin to a small burjong. I’ll ask you to come back when the size grows. You can rest in camp or progress through story missions for a while, then return to Little Bourjong to receive the reward.

Hexa (Stone wave cliff)

One of the more intimidating creature designs of Clair Obscur is the hexagon. These crystal-studded rock creatures are very actrical in appearance, but are generally very easy to defeat in battle.

The friendly hexa is found collapsed on a rock wave cliff near the entrance to an old farm cave. He asks you to get three sparkling rock crystals. All of these are available from nearby caves.

The first two crystals are very obvious, but patrol the enemy hexga is in the area and will likely need to be defeated. The final crystal can be found by jumping over the rocks, heading around the path on the left.

In my experience, characters like Maelle and Lune were better in this jump puzzle. Mechanically, it doesn’t change things, but it seemed easy.

Once you’ve collected all three crystals, you’ll return to the white hexa for reward. Hexga allows unique Pictos. Unique Pictos grant players a Shelter Combat Bonus at the start of each equipped battle.

Venice (Redwoods)

Benisur is a fountain-shaped creature that uses spitting attacks and is commonly encountered in Sirene or The Red Woods. This particular white nebron asks to deposit 5,000 chroma.

Once you complete this, you will be asking for 10,000 other donations, 25,000 and ultimately 50,000 donations. Of course, this is too pricey to pay everything at once, but you can always make a deposit back into your veni shoes through the playthrough.

It’s worth doing it. That’s because in exchange you will receive Recovery, one of the most powerful picts in the game.

Troubadour (Stone Quarry)

The Troubadour is certainly some of the most creative nevrons in Claire’s obscurity, and can be identified by the large trumpets used in attacks. The white troubadour is located in a stone quarry near the forgotten battlefield of the main continent.

As he accidentally killed his own friend with his deadly instrument, the white troubadour asks you to help him relearn his instrument.

The conversation triggers a fun little rhythm game where you need to dodge the incoming red orbs, while making the green orbs attack you. Unfortunately, even a single misstep will make the entire trail redo.

Once you have successfully completed 3 rounds of this challenge, Troubador will allow Pictos. This is one of the most effective things in the game for players who have mastered the art of defensive timing.

Porter (old Lumiere)

To the west of the old Lumiere is a small portal leading to esoteric ruins. As you enter and head north you will come across a mysterious, sparkling orb that asks you to define what a spirit is.

There are three different dialogue responses, but there is no impact on how the quest works. Simply talk to Spirit again to start the side quest.

The spirit asks to retrieve items from the esoteric ruins. To complete the maze, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Shoot the central orb near the entrance and open the other gates.

  2. Head to the room on the left, shoot the first orb and close the gate.

  3. Shoot the second orb to open the west gate.

  4. Step into the next room and cross the maze.

  5. Once you reach the far right room, turn around and shoot the first center orb again.

  6. Walk through the newly opened doorway, take the left, leave the right, exit the maze.

In this area on the other side of the maze, you will come across three purple items that you can plunder. Wooden boards are what Spirit is looking for, and these are on a sloping roof in the center.

After you have acquired the item, the maze will close and you will need to avoid using grappling points on top of the shattered building. You can then return to the spirit and incorporate the items. This will convert you to a portal and complete the quest as a result.

Danseus’s Teacher (Frozen Heart)

In the frozen heart area near Monoco Station, near the resting spot at the Glacier Falls, you will come across a white Danseus teacher asking you to engage in “parry dance.”

Once you accept the challenge, you will be thrown into combat mode and must withstand a 15-strike attack from Danseus.

You don’t need to receive all the attacks and simply survive, but the damage you take is substantial, which will help you master the drying skills before you try to take on this challenge.

Fortunately, you can always repeat the challenge if you fail. This gives you the opportunity to learn the rhythm of your attack patterns.

Once you complete the challenge, you will be rewarded with Lune’s unique Danseuse costume, one of the best outfits in the game.

Charlie (floating cemetery)

To reach the floating cemetery, you must first unlock Esky’s flight capabilities. Once you have done this, head to the island southwest of Guestal Beach.

Chalier here asks to choose the weapon to give it to. Of course, it’s you who use the weapon. Hammers are the slowest and most predictable to avoid, so we highly recommend choosing it over spears and swords.

Defeat Charie in the battle. Don’t worry – it can still talk to you. As a side note, it is worth remembering that Charie is vulnerable to light damage while resisting the darkness, so choose the right skills and attacks in advance.

Chalier will reward you, but ask you to be killed for the shame of defeat. Keep in mind that saving all the nebrons will ultimately earn you a much greater reward.

Blanche (fountain)

The final white nebron is the blanche in the fountain west of the spring meadow. There are no special challenges related to Blanche.

You can escape all white nebrons throughout the game and turn the previous side quest 100 times if you complete the request. Or you can attack Blanche and kill it.

So you’ll complete all possible Nebron Side Quests in the game.
