Starfield has new credit-friendly creations that will help fill in the blanks of new patches and new DLC, but fans are waiting for Bethesda to announce the next expansion and PS5 release date.
WatchTower is the latest Starfield creation from the professional RPG Modding Studio Kinggath Creations, which published the acclaimed mod series Sim Settlements for Fallout 4. It adds new, fully voiced stories, new factions, and new quests to sci-fi RPGs, and Bethesda promotes it on its official channels. There is also a trailer:

Meanwhile, this patch adds additional support to the creation, allowing you to upload up to 2GB of creations, and adds numerous fixes for quests, vehicles, UIs and crushed space DLC. The display settings are very low to improve performance on some devices. For each Bethesda website, patch notes can be found below:
However, more meaningful news on Starfield is waiting, and fans are hoping for an expansion announcement during Microsoft’s Xbox showcase and a potential release date for the PS5 release this June.
Starfield was launched in September 2023 as Bethesda’s first new IP, the first in 25 years. However, it was not as well received as the studio’s previous game in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout Franchise, released a year after it was released in September 2024.
Starfield reached 15 million players, but wondered if Bethesda would walk away from the game to focus on other franchises. June 2024, Bethesda claims she is committed to supporting Starfieldand confirmed that at least one other story extension will be released following the crushed space. In an interview with YouTube channel mrmattyplaysTodd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios said the developers are aiming to release an annual story extension “for a very long time.”
March, Speculation that Starfield will be confirmed soon for release on PS5 It was launched after fans spotted the PlayStation logo on Bethesda’s official Creations website. The logo was attached to Starfield’s working ship decal creation, and although the creation was removed, fans were wondering whether Bethesda’s SO-FAR PC and Xbox-only sci-fi games would soon jump to Sony’s consoles.
Bethesda itself says something “exciting” is being planned for Starfield this year amidst the frustration from players about the lack of communication and updates.
Given all the attention to remastered forgetting, it’s easy to forget Starfield, but that player hopes Microsoft and Bethesda grow bigger with Starfield Xbox Games Showcase Broadcast June 8th. Can I announce the PS5 version and the new expansion at the same time?
