Pokemon Go

Pokémon Go has announced a new $100 Premier Access Ticket upgrade for the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, which will unlock locks of items in the game and unaccess to actual improved facilities, including “upgraded toilets.”

Go Fest is the annual big summer event of games held this year in Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as Paris, France and Osaka Japan.

Players accessing the Jersey City version can now upgrade their existing tickets further with the $100 Premier Access add-on.

Similar to some kind of business class option at the event, payers can enjoy the best access lounge.

Niantic said the area will boast “an upgraded toilet, portable charger kiosk with lockers, and a seat to charge yourself for your next adventure.” Sadly, there is no further details about the facilities available to Rank and File visitors about how these toilets have been upgraded.

You will also get fast track entries to the event’s Pokemon Center pop-up store. That is, if you want to give more money and pick up Pokemon items, skip the line.

Why is this useful? Well, Go Fest merchandise stores are always busy and if the queue is stuck there, they’ll dig into Playtime’s limited windows.

However, the main attraction of Premier Access Upgrade can be a treasure trove of in-game items, including 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, and 20 Max Particle Packs. In short, you can easily spend $300 on every item in the game here.

  • 50 Silver Panip Berries
  • 100 Super Incubator
  • 10 lucky eggs
  • 10 incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacier Lure Modules
  • 10 magnetic lure modules
  • 10 mossy lure modules
  • 10 Rain Lure Module
  • 100 Premium Battle Pass
  • 20 particle pack
  • Five Max Mushrooms

Finally, the Premier Access Ticket holder will get an enamel pin badge.

Reactions to ticket offers are mixed, and some players are noting that it is being offered prominently as Pokémon Go has never offered such an outrageous ticket upgrade before, and the game offers more payment options than ever before.

Meanwhile, others should note that after arriving in Jersey City and participating in GoFest, there are players with disposable incomes that are attracted to such upgrades, which are attracted to such upgrades.

Passthecontroller contacted Niantic and asked if this offer existed elsewhere.

Pokémon GoFest 2025 will be held in Osaka on May 29th, Jersey City on the weekend of June 6th, and Paris on the weekend of June 13th. This year’s focus will be on the release of the legendary creature Volcanion and the wider release of Hawlucha, exclusive to the Mexican region.
