We live in a modern gaming landscape that seems to have been growing talk these days about getting too many remakes and remasters. Be honest? I don’t know if I agree with this complaint.
Please don’t get me wrong. I would like to release a new, creative and interesting AAA IP just as much as the next gamer. But after all, we haven’t really received many of these kinds of projects from AAA developers these days. Instead, many of us are always waiting for the next banger AA or indie release when AAA studios are working on Concord 2 or Fortnite: Infinite 2K26 Or whatever.
Until some of the current trends in the game begin to fix myself a bit, I have no problem diving into surprising nostalgic titles from young people. Certainly, they are not always the most original ideas, but they are proven titles that I know I automatically like.
The PS3 was a bit of a DUD generation for Sony compared to other consoles. I think this directly contributed to some great IPs simply left behind, forgotten and trapped in the system.
In a world where everything is remade anyway, I think these are the 10 forgotten games of the PS3 era and can be remade into modern essential plays.
We are talking specifically “Forgotten” The PS3 gem hidden here. Certainly, I love a lot Dark Souls, Notorious, or Unknown Although it’s a remake, these franchises are still very important to the awareness of modern gamers. None of the series/games on this list existed beyond PS3 age in any meaningful way.

The Legend of Brutal It was a hilarious and strange game from the Super PS3 era. With Jack Black as the main character’s voice, you control the metal band Roadley carried into the open underworld ruled by the demons. It’s all so tenacious d In the best way.
I think the big selling point here is to remake this game with Jack Black twists going well in his silver-haired fox days. Reclaiming this, but leaning towards Jack Black, now an aging metal head, and is even more out of his depth in the game as he plunges into the role of hero.
Jack Black is probably more popular than ever, so this game sells like a gangbuster Minecraft, Mario, In the case of fu pandaand franchises of other films he currently stars in. This is an easy victory and in reality you wouldn’t be surprised if someone was told in a closed room somewhere.

Driver: San Francisco
Crime, cars, and… Owner?

San Francisco is still a great environment for crime/driving mashups and I have always admired the series, which is not just a straight racer, but actually focused on the good driving that the series had.

Performance Folklore It was the first time I grew up when the game made me think myself, “This is crazy.” Strange. “The truth is said, the OG version is not incredible, but I think A complete and modern remake is absolutely possible.
Moving between Ireland and the Netherworld, this means you’re meeting creatures from the fairy world, capturing and utilizing them in exploration and encounters, and quickly moving on.
If that sounds like that Pokemonthat’s really not at all. It feels like this is not strange Final Fantasy. It seems melancholy, strange, eccentric, visually impressive, ready to get another chance to be something special.
If I say to provide this IP to Atlus and tell them that it will bring it smoothly in 2025, I would like to bet on my 1 year salary. It’s so fucking good.

Instant PSVR2 Must See
There’s a time Motorstorm It was the coolest game in the world for me. I remember playing the demo before I got my PS3 Motorstorm Every time I went to Walmart with my mom, the neck hangs all over my back and watched the demo television they still held on the top of their video game cases.
When you actually take the game home, Motorstorm It was still an explosion. The fantastic combination of graphics and physics from back then made this a series that I was really excited about. After just a handful of sequels, it sadly… left.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
I swear this time it will work
I’ve never had a game in my life, but I had a more hyped p-release. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale It wasn’t a battle royale by modern definition, but the Sony version Super Smash Bros Instead.
The formula should have been easy to replicate, but Sony tried to make the game different enough. SSB As much as possible. Sadly, the choices and concessions they made in this game were not pan out. If you’ve never played this title, you’re not alone. It’s truly embarrassing that this game remains locked on the PS3 and not able to beat new players without diving into the emulator route.
It is an innocent side scroll platformer that plays as the owned body of a doll armed with giant scissors. But, just like Pinnochio, this story has many deep, dark lore and themes hidden just below the surface. A simple remaster of modern consoles is sufficient, but It’s a dream scenario to see what Asobi can do with a complete remake.

Pump the brakes of a superhero
It wasn’t long ago that Sony actually had the stable stability of a capable and fun FPS title. Kirzone (I think he’s ripped that series too) but he was a heavy hitter. resistance It’s brilliantly filled as real hard science fiction halo/Gear Competitors.
This may never happen, and that’s a huge disappointment. It was also recently reported that Insomniac’s team wanted to keep the series alive, and Sony gave them a tough “no”. Let me say “Hmm” first.

Reviews for this game were solid enough and earned followers who checked it for several years after its release, who are equally confused as to why the series has never been revisited. I have no idea what I’m trying to get from PlatinumGames. For everything Nier: Automatic or Bayonettathere is also a Babylonian Autumn or Star Fox Zero. vanquishBut it was one of the good things, and you wouldn’t be surprised if you’d never even heard of it.
To be fair, it’s a rather linear shooter game and might be suitable for returning in a more open state, but that doesn’t change the facts. The game was simple nice. This is a third-person sci-fi shooter with plenty of movement, speed and style highlighted by crazy boss fights.
This game has been remastered on PS4, but that’s not enough vanquish Returning to the spotlight where it might have been acquired. This is absolutely worth a full-fledged remake/reboot to provide a truly amazing “new” IP that will excite fans of modern third-person shooters.
