summary

  • Ubisoft is releasing new free content for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, including fan-requested features such as Story Drops and Parkour updates.

  • Community Feedback updates are planned for June, and will introduce new options such as headgear switching during cutscenes and an open world alarm system.

  • The paid DLC, known as the Store Drops and the Claws of Awaji expansion, will be available with free updates, expanding the game’s content.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a single-player game, but it has not stopped Ubisoft from releasing a roadmap for content featured in the coming months. Given the success of the game, I’m not at all surprised because publishers clearly want these gamers to continue with the latest iteration of the franchise.

Apart from paid DLC, there are many features that fans are required. In other words, even if you haven’t purchased a DLC after it’s released, there may be some things coming.

We all know that the game is paid for DLC, but Ubisoft has also released something called “Story Drops.” These are new free quests that introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities and provide a backstory to some of the game’s characters. Expect the first drops of these story drops to be available for free next month to all owners of the game.

For fan/community requests, we got the first stack of new features based on what the community wanted earlier this month, but Ubisoft released another patch in June, centered around fan requests. Some of the items players can expect to include are ways to toggle the character’s headgear during cutscenes and dialogues, giving players the option to disable individual visual effects, such as weapons Grint during combat. The alarm system is also brought to an open world, and should be a bigger challenge for players.

If you need help with the game, we’ll check out the complete walkthrough and provide a chapter-by-chair breakdown on how best to do each scenario.
