Oblivion Remastered Is Already Discounted on PC

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered PC players ran into trouble after the surprise update began today, but Bethesda says the fix is ongoing.

The player woke up and found that a massive re-release of Virtuos received an unexpected update early today. Most went through the play sessions as normal, as there were no patch notes or clear answers about what the update was being addressed. However, others quickly discovered that the first forgetting remaster update caused more issues than the fix

yooo why @virtuosgames Remaster the Oblivion update to remove all upscaling just before the first weekend game. !!?

“I can’t change the upscaling method anymore.” Reddit users pointed it out. “It is set to ‘Off’ and the arrow cannot be clicked, but nothing happens. So I closed the game, started the game again, and started the game again, with the fluid movement I disabled in the NVIDIA app (I was testing something before the patch came).

“Now I’m stuck at 40-60 fps with high settings with 5800x3D and 5080. Nice patch:D”

Some players are unaware of many changes in performance, while others report new struggles related to low-fler merit. Many also note that upscaling settings have been completely closed, leaving fans with major visual issues. Oblivion is the first weekend remastered by the players.

Bethesda finally tried to address the concerns with a post published on the official support page. Regarding what today’s Oblivion remaster update was intended to fix, this post explains that the patch simply has “some backend tweaks, nothing directly affects gameplay.” Unfortunately, those who own forgetting remastered through the Microsoft Store seem to be experiencing issues with upscaling and anti-aliasing options.

“The graphics settings adjusted before Microsoft Store Hotfix are still enabled and work fine,” revealed Bethesda. “However, due to issues with the configuration UI, these settings are not temporarily adjustable. The team is looking into the details as soon as possible and adjusting solutions.”

For now, we don’t know when the exact solution will arrive for what appears to be originally a hotfix under radar. In the meantime, players from PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be displayed | The S console can play without any problems.
