Free to play 3D WAIFU sci-fi RPG shooter SnowBreak: Cantment Zone drops the latest updates and adds new content. There are new characters, skins, gameplay modes and more.
If you’re not familiar with snow, it’s a PC and mobile third-person RPG shooter game, in a world where the giant being known as Titan suddenly appears in a populated area. They cause immeasurable destruction, leaving behind a toxic substance known as titanium. Together, the leaders formed Heimdalforth, a paramilitary organization whose mission is to fight these Titans.
You play as a deputy for Heimdalforth and your job is to recruit and lead a team of female super soldiers. These soldiers, known as manifestations, awakened to their powers after the first arrival of Titans, and the strongest of them are usually even able to use Titagens in combat without the associated negative effects.
The story is told in chapters, with each chapter being further divided into stages. Each battle stage forms a team of three characters, each with their own unique skills. You simply control one character at a time on the battlefield, and using your skills will slowly replenish your energy. Therefore, you need to strategically exchange each character to make the most of your abilities without completely draining energy. As you progress, you can build relationships with team members by building relationships with team members or deploying in battle. As your affinity for you increases, you will be able to get to know them better.
The latest update adds a new story scenario called Abyssal Dawn. This will investigate incidents with two characters, a new addition to the update: Nerida and Nita -Pulse.
Nerida is self-negative, often lonely, and can be strict with others, but you can save your life. She loves sweet snacks, gorgeous, ancient marine life models, and is obsessed with deep-sea documentaries and jellyfish care. She is equipped with a chaotic type assault rifle and her role is your team’s main damage dealer.
She is excellent in both single target and area effect attacks, and is able to build internal injury effects on enemies with both standard skills and ultimate. You can then go back to her and use her standard skills. Her standard skills will cause a large burst of damage by consuming the internal damage effects you have built.
Nita – Pulse is casual yet perceptive, money-driven, but protects the vulnerable. While she is on the battlefield, she likes to peel her eyes for valuable items and pocket them like objects of tigergen. She swings a heat-shaped shotgun around and brings a new QTE combat mechanic with her. She successfully chains QTE inputs between standard skills to increase damage and completes the chain, and unleashes the ultimate powerful strike.
NITA-Pulse is freely available for all players. Available by completing the Pulse Puzzle event. She will also be available for free as a login reward during Nita’s invitation events starting May 1st. When you participate in that event, you will also be able to earn Nita’s fully modified exclusive weapon, the largest Oaks Drive (a version of the manifestation), and a signature-fixed Trendrogistics squad. So, if you have, you can make the most of her complete build for free.
If you’re wondering what the Pulse Puzzles event is, it’s another new addition to the latest update. As the name suggests, you will be solving puzzles in various parts of the game. It’s a chance to relax and understand Nita better, and it will become available forever, so you can do it at your own pace. To learn more about Nita, there is also a new interactable scene called Grove of Secrets, available from now until May 29th.
Both Nita-pulse and Nerida were introduced along with additional skins. Nita transforms her into a gray-haired forest nymph, featuring replaceable parts such as footwear and stockings, as well as customization options available in Vidya. But they aren’t the only ones who get new looks.
This update adds new outfits for Katya, Fenny and Bubu. Katya was featured a year ago and is known for her unique look and features. Fenny has joined the game since launch and has become a fan favorite. Boob is a character from last year’s traditional themed event.
There is also a new hide-and-seek gameplay mode called Let’s Go, Heimdall! For 15 players at a time, three seekers will try to find 12 hideouts. On the horizon there is a very anticipated emotional purge mode that adds cover-based shooting gameplay. It will first be available on April 28th and will be further refined with future updates.
And in addition to her new costume, Bubu is getting a new dorm room at your home base. It also adds new interchangeable furniture in the form of her quiet desk set.
These are the highlights of this update, but there are more to be added. You need to play it to see it all.
