EA Teaming Up With Modders To Protect Battlefront 2 Against Hackers

summary

  • For a while, the hackers were virtually unable to play Battlefront 2.
  • Fans and modders alike tried to work together to solve the problem.
  • EA, along with mod team Kyber, is finally implementing the patch in question

Battlefront 2 has been in pretty bad condition for the past few days. The game has always had hacking and cheating issues on PC, but last week the issue got so bad that players were unable to participate in the match.

Due to current conditions, Battlefront 2 on your PC is virtually unplayable. Fans beg the EA to fix the issue and allow them to return to playing the game.

According to a recent statement from Kyber, a group of fan modders and developers dedicated to Battlefront 2, EA has finally begun to listen to fans and has begun implementing fixes to restore the game to playable state.

Additionally, Kyber will continue to tackle Battlefront 2’s dedicated community server and implement its own policy for fraud and hacking.

The main causes of recent Battlefront 2 hacks are uncertain, but one thing is clear. Hackers are set to ruin the experience of everyone. The biggest problem facing the PC community is that it is a bigger 40-player game mode, which makes it impossible for the con artist to spawn.

Like hacks like Titanfall 2 and Team Fortress 2, hacking has no purpose other than making the game completely unplayable, crashing player counts and terminating community support.

Luckily, the Battlefront 2 community appears to remain strong. Support from Kyber appears to be pushing firmly against these hackers, and their post states, “Gameplay integrity is a top priority and we rely on community vigilance to maintain fair standards.”

Additionally, the statement mentions working with the EA for official support. They explain it They “can make sure the EA deployed a server-side fix to prevent it from being used to interfere with the official game server.”

They say EA will “work independently on the revisions and work with Kyber and the wider Star Wars Battlefront II mods community.” EA appears to be keen to at least stay alive.

This doesn’t mean the complete end to the hacking in Battlefront 2, but it shows a substantial amount of community support, particularly with Kyber’s dedicated support, which means the game has the right legs to stand in the future.
