The director of the Quiet Place, Michael Sarnoski, is reportedly to write and direct the live-action adaptation of the director of Kojima Productions’ death.
At each deadline, Sarnoski creates productions and square pegs for A24 and Kojima Productions, writes and directs the adaptation of death. Sarnoski directed and wrote both the day of the quiet location spinoff starring Nicolas Cage and the 2021 Pig. He is also the writer/director for another A24 project, The Death of Robin Hood.
There was little detail given as to what the live-action adaptation of death would involve. The original 2019 game attempted to send players into wastelands and reconnect America, scattered amidst events at extinction levels, in a world haunted by nightmare creatures and strange events. Before taking into account the trends in the Isle of films, it’s already a good film feed.
Death Stranding also featured a star-studded cast including Norman Reedus in the lead roles of Sam Bridges, Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo Del Toro and Margaret Qualley. It will be interesting to see if these actors will replicate their roles for live action adaptations.
There’s a lot more in store as Kojima Productions recently confirmed Death Stranding 2.
Even though Metal Gear Solid Movie is slowing down the update, it is reportedly still working, which means that you’ll forget about projects related to this particular Kojima in advance. But with all the stars and movies, Death Stranding certainly seems poised to jump to live action.
