Everything in the Tekken community is kick-off. This week, Passthecontroller reported on how Ticken 8 players responded with anger to the Season 2 update as they caused a major change in the way they play fighting games.
Patch Notes Revealed the board’s buff against character damage and offensive pressure. So some within the community complained that Tekken 8 was far from the classic Tekken experience.
The rebound got so bad that some Protecten players threatened to throw away the game, while others steamed to leave angry negative reviews.
In response, Bandai Namco’s Tekken Development team has issued a statement acknowledging the uproar, confirming that the “emergency patch” will be released this month, with Paul and Jack in particular involving a change in balance.
Fighter,
We are aware of current community feedback #Tekken8 Season 2.
We carefully check the balance of the game. Stay tuned for more information about these changes soon.Additionally, an emergency patch was released in April, addressing the following issues 👇 pic.twitter.com/gvet0ioisu

Now, Tekken Development Chief tweets one person’s complaint that the Ticken community has gone too far towards turning their anger towards certain staff members on social media.
“In any case, it’s clear to me that the outcome is a disconnect between what the community wants and the tuning outcome,” the forewarned said.
“I understand that whatever words I might be criticized by the community, it’s not an essential issue and it’s not a time to worry about it.
“We run 24 hours a day, our Combat & Tuning team is working on reading all the feedback logs from our community and working on future policies and changes.
“thank you.”

It seems unlikely that Harada’s comments will calm the angry response from the Tekken community or halt the trend of negative user reviews on Steam. Recent reviews are now “overwhelmingly negative” after thousands of negative reviews last week.
“I’m confused,” read current “most helpful” user reviews. “I have never seen developers without community contact.
“The new season fell and we were able to defend all the characters into one buff in a braindead simple mix-up machine. Tekken8 players spoke up about the salience of the easy mix-up and the obvious Narff of defense compared to past Tekken games, but we’ve made a big patch with many new moves that highlight all aspects of the players fall into the game.
“No one literally asked for these changes. Even new players have never asked for more attacks in games where they clearly lack defensive options and can easily mash buttons and win like most Tekken games.”
