Capcom made a surprising announcement during a live stream in the Spotlight earlier this year. Onimusha’s Publishing: Way of the Sword.

This beloved, iconic classic series revival ensures that many fans and veteran gamers are extremely happy over the years.


Since the successful revival of Resident Evil’s older titles, many fans have been asking Capcom to offer other franchises, including the same treatment of Onimsha and Dino Crisis. And now I’m waiting.

Recently, game directors and producers Satori Nihei and Akihito Kadowaki shed even more light on this upcoming title in an interview with Famitsu, respectively.

They confirmed that Onimusha: Way of the Sword is basically a restart. This allows newcomers to fully enjoy the story of the game.

Onimusha’s main character: Way of the Sword is Miyamoto Musashi, a real-life Japanese swordsman who lived in the 16th and 17th centuries.
