The latest Apple Watch has dropped to its lowest price ever as part of the Big Amazon Spring Sale, which starts today. Currently, you can increase the 42mm Apple Watch Series 10 for just $299 or $329 to make the 46mm model bigger. This is cheaper than the best deals I’ve seen on Black Friday. If you own an iPhone, the Apple Watch is definitely the best smartwatch for you. It’s stylish, boasts excellent build quality, and is excellent as a fitness tracker and smartwatch, making it a better complement to your iPhone than any other watch brand.
Apple Watch Series 10 starting at $299
The Apple Watch Series 10 is the latest generation mainstream model (Watch Series 11 is not expected until September this year). Improvements to the Apple Watch Series 9 include a larger OLED Retina display, a new S10 processor (not faster, but thinner, allowing the watch itself to have a slimmer profile), a slightly larger base model size (42mm vs. 41mm), and obviously trivial features like a water depth gauge. If you already own an Apple Watch Series 9, you probably don’t have enough reason to upgrade here. But if this is your first time buying an Apple Watch, the Series 10 is definitely the best Apple Watch for most people.
Compared to the Apple Watch SE, the Apple Watch Series 10 boasts a larger size (42mm vs. 40mm), a larger display, a 30% powerful processor, double storage, more advanced fitness tracking and body monitoring sensors, double tap gesture support, and faster charging. The Apple Watch SE is currently reasonably affordable at $199 on Amazon, but I think the upgrade is worth it for most people.
Can I use my Apple Watch on my Android phone?
It is technically possible, but I don’t recommend using an Apple Watch on an Android phone. Apple has made it necessary for many of the features of the Apple Watch to have a smartphone with an iOS operating system. There are several workarounds to implement some features, but for the average person the hassle isn’t worth it. If you are absolutely planning on getting your Apple Watch, getting your iPhone first is your best option. For those who are very pleased with Android smartphones, there are plenty of Android smartwatches that are better than the Apple Watch.
