In just a few weeks, PC players will be able to experience the final part 2, which was remastered when it was released on PC on April 3rd. However, it is not a straight port in terms of content, as it has been confirmed that Naughty Dog and Nixxes software (the studio that handles ports) are progressing with new content leading up to the release of the PC version and the PS5 version.
The PC version includes all the improvements and new features added to the PS5 version released last year.
Our last part 2 remastered on PS5 patched on PC version release date
According to Naughty Dog, there will not be two new characters introduced into the mode.
Bill is a “smuggler” playstyle, allowing you to access pump shotguns from dead drops and receive double rewards from drops as well. Characters become stronger against melee attacks, but cannot be dodged.
Marlene features a “Risk Taker” playstyle, including the custom assault rifle, “All or Nothing” gambit, allowing you to rerout the return path once per run.
That’s not all. 4 new maps will be added without return mode!
- I’ll overlook – High above the city of Seattle, there is plenty of verticality.
- school – Abandoned primary school where Ellie and Dina face off against the WLF
- street – Set in the overgrown Seattle area of Hillcrest.
- Nest -Familiar to players who played as Abby through infected buildings.
Also, PS5 owners get “new trophies and additional bug fixes,” but Naughty Dog didn’t state the criteria needed to unlock these new achievements. The chance is that they are totally back and tied to new content.
Expect the PS5 patch to be available as a free download 2.0.0 patch when booting your PC.
The only things fans can look forward to are the remastered PC port and PS5 updates from our final part 2. HBO’s The Last of Us season 2 premiered on April 13th and needs to continue the excellent foundations set for the first season.
Sony back down to requesting PlayStation Network be tied down to the PC version of Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, but Naughty Dog said that he can access 50 gaming points to his PSN account and activate the bonus feature.
