Good news: you can have a dog Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs. When you love animals, you’re rewarded with truly cute movies – obviously, even the strange cat is ready to bounce back in Nae’s hands. What’s not much advertised is the fact that you can do it Add the animals you encounter to your hideout and it will live forever as your pet.

How to find a pet in the shadow of the Assassin’s Creed
After unlocking the hideout during the Sparks to Flame quest, Naoe is unleashed into an open world (no pun). When you meet animals in the open world, add them to your codex. Once the animal enters the codex, it can be put into a hideout.

Well, now you have a codex full of cats and dogs – but how can you see them running around your hideout?
In the hideout, access the table with a model that can improve the hideout. From here, open the build menu. The pet can be found in the final tab of the build menu, represented by a picture of the dog’s head.
Here you can add all the animals you catalogued in your hideout. You have to place them in empty squares outside, but once placed, they will roam the place. It’s actually really fun, and with the human companions you bring in, the hideout makes you feel like a living village.
You should be able to add as many animal types as you like. Except for pets with special names like Tsuki Maru so that they can only be placed once.
If you put traditionally wild animals like wild boars, you should be able to pet them too. So turn your hideout into a zoo and enjoy the ninja!
