There have been many more crossovers in recent years between people who like video games and people who like anime. This is probably why more famous anime are getting video game adaptations and tie-in, but unfortunately many of these will be either half-baked arena fighters or common mobile games.
Unfortunately, the settings and concepts of a lot of praised anime series almost certainly lend themselves enough to the format of a video game. What it needs is a bit of imagination and inspiration from other games as a starting framework, and we can have a game that is fun for ourselves and properly respects the source material.
The big rule here is that you can only choose anime that don’t have a fully console-based video game release yet.
9 ssssss.gridman
Let’s samurai, everyone
Over the years, there have been more than a few games based on the stability of Okususu’s franchise Ultraman and its associated kaiju. These are all very simple arena fighters, and on the surface, perhaps even games based on SSSS.Gridman.
However, take this into consideration. The Gridman Alliance not only operates Utah and Gridman, but also Sho and Rikka at Calibur, Max, Ball, Vit and even thrift stores to operate junk. What happens when one player controls Gridman in the Battle of Ergo, Kaiju, as well as other players manipulate things behind the scenes?
One team can work to prevent the fuse from overheating or blowing away when junk transports assist weapons. Meanwhile, another team will work with or combine with Gridman to control the assist weapon if necessary. As things progressed and Kaiju got stronger, I was even able to throw anti/gridnight into the mix.
8 Chainsaw Man
More Chainsaws, More Fun
If a variety of arena-based action games like Doom and Madworld taught us anything, then wielding a chainsaw is really fun. It’s not that complicated. It slices, it dices and becomes “brrrr”.
If you want a less complicated chainsaw-centric action, Chainsaw Man is the perfect candidate. Heck, Denji barely has two brain cells rubbing together on a good day, so swinging his saw around is probably all he can think of.
Character action frameworks are probably best for Chainsaw Man. Denji was able to burn wildly around his saw and his body, slice the demons and maybe enter some air combos.
For fun, call other demon hunters like Power and Aki and use their abilities for quick striker-style attacks. Imagine how pleased Aki would have him use his claw sword three times and summon the cursed demon.
7 Mushles: Magic and Muscles
Punch the wizard
It’s difficult to make a video game from an anime with an explicitly overwhelmed protagonist. For example, this is a big reason why One Punch Man games didn’t actually pan out.
However, the big difference between Saitama and Mashburn Deed is that in addition to slugting them, Mash is good at intuitively intuitively about the abilities of the opponent. With that in mind, the best way to make a mashle game might be a brawler focused on puzzles.
Mash can use his brute strength to set up arenas and environments in such a way that it limits his opponent’s magic spells and delivers the right knuckle sandwich while he is behind. A similar framework also works in battles where mash is not present, controlling other multifunctional characters such as lance and dots.
6 Workplace cell!
In the name of health
Some of the best strategy games need to balance you with maintaining peace at home with ousting out enemy forces that threaten you. The first war of this nature occurs 24/7 in your own body, as anyone who sees the cells of the workplace knows.
Workplace Cell-based games are equal partial management SIM and WAR strategy commands. Even if everything is going well, you should always ensure that every sector of the body receives stable delivery of oxygen and nutrients from the red blood cells, guides them through the circulation, and calls platelets if something is damaged.
If the virus inevitably attacks, it is necessary to send white blood cells into the scene to fight them, and complement the war effort with B-cell antibodies. If things become miserable, you can loosen the killer T-cell and tilt the scale with your favor.
fun and Educational!
5 Zom 100: Bucket list of the dead
Undead, fun dead
Soon, the first existing game you’re probably thinking about to create a game based on the Zom 100 is Dead Rising. This is a wise choice. Because they are both dealing with tools in large environments and generally do not deal with zombie apocalypse in such dignity and circumstances.
But the central conceit of the Zom 100 is that even the Zombie Apocalypse is fun and formative, especially compared to the 9-5 work. So, rather than simply surviving or revealing any mystery, the key to Zom 100 game is to have as much fun as possible.
An honorable bucket list should be the basis for finding a source of fun around town. Instead of looking for food or water, you should be able to find resources to check out Akira’s list, like marathon games and big screen TVs for canvas and paint.
4 Elusive Samurai
Original Moose
Musau games like Samurai Warriors and Sengoku Basara are set in the Chinese era of Japanese history, also known as “fighting states.” Things have been pretty busy during this period, but before that, there were quite a few scenes, based on the actual history that influenced the elusive samurai.
The elusive samurai is set between the eras of Kamakura and Muromachi, but in the anime seen in Musou Games, many of the same large-scale army battles are still seen. This format is perfect for this noble and samurai story.
Most elusive warriors like Ayako and Kojiro can be taken to the field in traditional combat, with Tokiyuki remaining on the backline. In dire circumstances, you can also use your signature escape ability to control Fukiyuki and escape from infringing danger, or use your nose to guide enemy units.
3 Dr. Stone
Everyone loves harvesting resources
In many ways Dr. Stone as a whole, the story is weeks or even months ago, and even the Science Kingdom develops a variety of chemicals and devices. Obviously, this makes sense from a weekly anime perspective, but does it make sense for video games? It leaves completely good gameplay on the table.
Dr. Stone’s game can follow a similar trajectory in the plot to the anime, but instead of skipping all the effort and science, he was able to deploy members of the kingdom to get the necessary material. Alternatively, you can assume control of Chrome or Kohaku while Chrome or Kohaku is gathering.
Once you have the ingredients, you can engage in a mama style mini-game to cook while Senku Brews Chemicals and Kaseki assemble the device. The overall point of the series is that science is a slow, systematic process that can be enriched to properly engage in it.
2 Megalo Box
True Skill-Based Boxing
The big hook on Megalobox is that “gearless” Joe can use nothing but his own muscles and boxing basics to defeat Megalo boxers with gear that improves strength. This will fully fill your niche, with already lacking good boxing video games, especially with more exaggerated and gimmicky games like Punchout and Hajimeno Ippo games.
The fact that Joe doesn’t have gear means he definitely can’t take some direct hits from his opponent. This means that as a player you need to be virtually perfect with your combat skills as you have little room for error.
Basically, imagine playing through punch-outs. However, a few hits are enough to knock you down, except that all opponents have the same strength as the circuit fighters in the world. It’s punched out with the training wheels off and it’s refreshing to say the least.
1 Magilumiere Co. Ltd.
Magical girl as a business
In most magical girl anime, the heroine appears whenever she needs it, defeats the buddy and follows her hilarious path. However, in Magilumiere, the magical girl is a salary employee and cannot deploy will.
Games based on Magilumiere can be split into business management and more traditional magical actions. During employment, the company must network with other offices, secure resources and training, and allocate budgets for equipment repairs.
These resources and budgets are directed at giving the magical girl the best equipment and skills possible on the ground when it’s time to destroy Kaii. The big gimmick of the universe’s Magilmière is that they are constantly tweaking magic into the situation, so perhaps the combat encounters can have special goals and tasks that enhance the overall effect of your magical girl when achieved.
