The legend of Shang-chi and Ten Ten Rings Actor Sim Liu recently revealed that he is working with the rights holders of Sleeping dog Create a live action film. Donnie Yen was supposed to appear in the adaptation (announced in 2017), but the project ultimately went nowhere.
Luckily, Li’s efforts seem to bear fruit. According to IGN, “sources close to the project” revealed that it is in work. And yes, Liu will perform and produce Wei Shen, a member of the Undercover Police Officer/Triad. Square Enix, the game’s publisher, did not request comment.
We don’t see it when the film is released yet, but there are also issues with sequels. “It’s always been a dream,” Li said, but we still don’t see if that will happen.
Sleeping dog It was first released in 2012 and can be played on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC. Check out our features on what made it so great. The sequel was under construction, but was eventually discarded in 2013. Multiplayer spinoffs, Triad WarIt was also cancelled before its release in 2015.
