According to the developers, over 90% of Open Alpha players “recommend” the game.
Open Alpha Statistics for Splitgate 2 from the “Bonkers” Reception
This is the statistic of the 1047 games open alpha straights.

There are no words from the 1047 game. There are also a number of players entered into Open Alpha, and there are no actual sources for that 90% recommended rating. So, did it come from an investigation? Twitter vote? I won’t say it in a press release, but I’ll take the words of 1047 games.
Splitgate 2 is a sequel to a free-to-play game released in 2021, where we were able to find a foothold at the time of release, but it won over 600,000 downloads in the first week, causing many server issues. In 2022, the studio announced it had stopped supporting Splitgate to tackle a sequel built with Unreal Engine 5.
In addition to the statistics announcement, the studio also announced Open Beta, which is expected to be available on PCs and consoles in May.
Splitgate 2 is aiming for 2025 release on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox One. Can the sequel avoid the pitfalls of the original? We certainly know when the game runs out later this year.
