Death Stranding 2: On the Beach It will be released for PlayStation 5 on June 26th. Game Director and founder of Kojima Productions, Kojima announced on Sunday with the game’s long new trailer on the SXSW 2025 panel.
That trailer provided a new 10 minute look Death Scheme 2 And that star with fresh faces. The 2019 action game sequel will once again star Norman Reudus as Sam Bridges, the hero who hits that strange storyline package. Léa Seydoux and Troy Baker are also vulnerable and return as Higgs. They will be joined by new characters played by Elle Fanning (Tomorrow), Shiori Kutuna (Rainie) and George Miller (Tarman). Also participating in the cast are Luca Marinelli as Neil, Debra Wilson as Doctor, and Alyssa John as Lucy. (There is also a cameo by Korean action star Lee Dong Sok, aka Dong Lee.)
Death Scheme 2The new trailer appears to have some nods to Kojima’s previous gaming franchise, Metal Gear Solid. Marinelli’s Neil definitely looks like a sturdy snake at one point, and the giant tar creature that fuses with DHV Magellan becomes a Magellan man, giving it a Metal Gialex/Sahelantropas vibe. Beyond that, there are many gameplay action and story tips.
The new trailer for Kojima Productions explains that Death Scheme 2 It is set 11 months after the formation of United City in the United States. The servers line up on the beach, delivery is automated, and on the surface they’re removing Sam-like porters from work. The chirarium from the beach continues to distort the environment (and cats!) as the new faction spreads its influence. But that doesn’t seem to stop Sam from doing his job.
in Death Scheme 2Kojima, the first trailer at The Game Awards in 2022, said his experience during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic has inspired him to re-create the game’s script.
The second 10-minute trailer in last year’s playstream showed that the delivery company Bridges worked for had dissolved and a new organization called the Drawbridge had risen to the location. But, like all Kojima-led games, the exact details are vague.
