That day has finally arrived – the Nintendo Switch 2 is here! Unless you live under a rock, you probably already know it. What you may not know is that Sega has four games on consoles, three of which are currently available, one with a fast release date approaching.

From pure action to platforms to puzzles, whether you’re a solo gamer or want something to play with friends, there’s a bit of something for everyone. Yakuza 0 Director Cut
This is the definitive edition of the Yakuza series Origin Story, loaded with outstanding new content from the Switch 2 third-party launch lineup. If you’ve never had the opportunity to dive into the Yakuza series, this is the best starting point.
You will play for Yakuza Kazuma Kiriu and former Yakuza (current cabaret club manager) Gorojima in a crime drama exploring Japan’s decadence and dangers of 1988. Both characters have three unique fighting styles, allowing you to switch between street signs, bicycles, motorcycles and traffic cones on the spot, using your surroundings.
However, Yakuza 0 doesn’t just split the skull. When you want to take a break from the battle, you can live in a street lit by Japanese neon lit and enjoy a variety of optional side content: over-the-top substance, karaoke, dance rhythm games, bowling, and even a full-fledged retro Sega Arcade.
The director’s cuts add an English voice acting and a new cutscene of over 25 minutes, providing deeper insight into the character’s backstory and key moments in the main story. It also adds a new online mode called Red Light Raid. Here you can join forces with your biggest teammates to take on a horde of enemies, and fight the clock and face off against the ultimate boss.
Defeating enemies and winning an attack gives you money to unlock and upgrade your characters. There are 60 people each with their own health, defense and attack statistics. Online Leaderboard tracks your lifetime revenue, so you and your friends can compete on top of your way.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army
This is a remastered version of the 2006 action RPG, part of the Devil Summoner series, and a spin-off from Shin Megami Tensei, marking Raidou’s debut on Nintendo’s consoles. You play as a demonic reminiscent detective protecting the city in an alternative version of Tokyo from 1931.
It all starts with a mysterious schoolgirl who asks Rydoo to kill her, but she is lured into an armored soldier before explaining why. Plus, demonic invasions are rising all around town. When trying to solve this strange case, you need to harness your ability to capture and fuse demons.
The remaster adds demons that are not in the original, and this time it totals over 120. They can fight by your side in combat, but join you on the field and you can use their unique abilities to influence the environment and help resolve cases. Some demons read your mind, others light up the area to help you find hidden objects, while others can freeze water or fly through inpassable areas.
There are also some new improvements to visuals, audio and performance. The characters, which are part of the main storyline, are completely vocal acting and come alive in new ways. The graphics have been upgraded completely, and the UI has been improved, allowing you to save the game from anywhere on the field. Additionally, the combat system has been overhauled. You now have full control over the camera during battle, streamline menu navigation, you can command multiple demons, and Raidou has new abilities. Raidou Remastered will release its release on June 19th on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There are also five DLC packs (and bundles of all five packs will also be released), and you can get Raidou glasses, a cosmetic item that allows you to pre-order digital versions of the base game.

Sonic x Shadow Generation
This is one package of two games that combines the Shadow Generations with the remastered version of Sonic Generations. Passthecontroller I gave 9 to the original release And “We already need a great game, and Spring will jump to new heights at a fierce pace with creative levels of design, great bosses, lots of collectibles and quite a few graphical upgrades to new heights at a fierce pace.” The Switch 2 release will push these upgrades even more. Both games have been optimized and enhanced for Nintendo’s new console with resolution and graphics improvements.
The game plays similarly, but with noticeable differences. Sonic Generations toggles between the “classic” and “modern” versions of Sonic to make sure the gameplay was inspired by different eras in the franchise. “Classic” is purely side-scrolling, like the original Sonic game of the 90s. “Modern” plays like the 2000s era when side scrolling and third person mixed. Use the main hub to access each level. Each level has a “Classic” and “Modern” sections all. Some of the levels were not only inspired by previous eras. It’s a complete remake of the series’ iconic level. This seems to be the classic Green Hill Zone of the original Sonic Escape from Sonic Adventure 2.
As the name suggests, Shadow Generations shadow stars Hedgehog as the main character. There are also two sections for each level, one side scroll and one 3D, but Shadow has a different power than his blue counterpart. When he defeats the enemy, he fills the gauge in the corner of the screen. When it’s full, you can activate chaotic controls that stop time, freeze objects, and open alternative paths. You can also discover new capabilities known as Doom Powers. This also allows you to unlock new attacks and abilities that dramatically change the platform capabilities of Shadow.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2s
This unique puzzle game is exclusive to Switch 2 and brings a ton of new features to the Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S. You can play it like Tetris, place blocks and fill the lines on the screen to eliminate them. Or like Puyo Puyo, you can eliminate colored clumps by matching colors and setting up a combo. Alternatively, you can combine the two crossover game modes.
Then there’s an exclusive one. The all-new game modes and features you can only experience on the Nintendo Switch 2 make use of the new hardware in a fun way. PuyoTetris® Doubles Mode allows you to compete in 2v2 battles in pairs using the same board and set up catastrophic combos. With Gameshare, you can play with up to 3 friends from anywhere in the world using one copy of the game. The camera feature allows you to place yourself in the game, become the background of the stage or game board via a live video feed, and also has mouse control support using Joy-Con 2.
In addition to that, there is an extensive single-player adventure and 12 game modes that can be played solo or locally and online. Additionally, there is a roster of 40 playable characters, including Sonic the Hedgehog, each with its own stats and abilities.
