Kingdom Come Derverance 2 is large and spans the Trosky and Kuttenberg regions. Both bring 15th century Bohemia to life in great detail, Exploring them feels like living breathing through the medieval world.
Kuttenberg, now known as Kutna Hora, opens later in the story after being double-crossed by Otto Von Bergow. It’s a larger area on paper, but I’m still leaning towards Trosky as something more memorable.
Trosky’s characters stand out, the quest designs hit harder and everything feels more closely related. However, Kuttenberg has its moments and some of its villages deserve their own spotlight.
So here’s an overview of the best towns and locations in the Kattenberg region. These picks are based on how often you visit them, what quest content is packed into them, and how sticks to you.

pschitoky
Easy stopover
Pschitoky feels good Your standard, bohemian town in the middle of the road. There is an incomplete fortress, there is not much content, and you don’t see a single memorable NPC.
You can come across Hand Krizan, who was hired for X, but all he really does is scam you from Groschen. That’s all for treasure hunting.
However, Pschitoky sits in the heart of the Kuttenberg region, making it a decent travel point when you first head to places like Bylany or Miskowitz.

Sigismund Camp
Chaos military pre-post base
Sigismund’s Camp features the Hungarian King’s Ragtag Army of Mercenaris and Cumans.
It serves as a backdrop for quests such as Hush, My Darling, Lost Honor, and also hosts Cannon Robbery Missions to Go to Secrets.
There is also a murder mystery woven into it, with the falsely accused Musa of Mari getting caught up in the middle. It’s a set-off for the robber mission, but proving Musa’s innocence pays off later in the story.
There are also almost everything you can expect from an army camp hereFrom typical traders to several blacksmiths and armor, even dice tables.
8
Old Kutna
A dark, secret town
Old Kutna is a quiet stop just north of Kuttenberg City, but it doesn’t often pull you outside the quest marker.
Your first visit will not accurately deploy the welcome wagon.
But that setup leads to one of the more interesting side quests: Mouth of Hell. There you can rawl the tidy sum of Groschen to resolve the dispute.

The devil’s
Rebel hideout and base
The Devil’s Nest is the first place to hit after stepping into Kattenberg after the Shoot Doll, and becomes one of the hells of first impressions.
Here we officially assemble the Ragtag crew under names like Jan Zizka, Adder, Kubyenka, The Dry Devil and more. And they are honestly some of the funniest allies you will meet.
This hideaway also serves as your sales base for Otto and the company. And if you missed learning Master Strike in Trosky, you can learn it from the dry devil here.

Maleshuv
Otto’s Fortress and the final stand
Maleschov is not a place where you can just wander – it is the home of the fortress of Otto von Bergou. But like Nevakov, it mainly serves as the stage for some big moments in the game.
Hans is where you find Hans, who is captured in a French holiday quest along with the slippery Brabant.
After that, after a quest involving a cannon robbery, it becomes a siege site, and Henry faces heavy decisions that shape how things unfold. Overall, there’s not much to do in Maleshuv, but when it appears, the stakes are higher.

Kuttenberg Mining Hub
In 15th century Bohemia, silver mining was the lifeblood of Kattenberg’s booming economy, and Grund was smaking in the middle.
Kingdom comes to save two nails that are of that atmosphere. As soon as you arrive at Grund you will be greeted with smoke swirling from the furnace.
It’s not just a setting that makes Grund stand out, but how much does it happen here? Compared to other towns.
Via Argentum Quest drops you into a thick of shady mining politics. Adding the Thunderstone Side Quest and the blacksmith challenge of Hammer and Tong, Grund wins the place as one of the best towns in Kattenberg.

Misskowitz
Battle rings and quiet drama
Miskowitz is a quaint pond town that is notorious for its combat tournaments where local enforcers tear their hair. The beautiful pond in its center is perfect for Henry to wash away blood and dirt after a fight.
Beyond the battle, Miskowitz offers one of the game’s most heartfelt quests, The Touching Hush My Darling Quest. Also, the enforcement officer of the Collector Task can help track down Matthew, a former dried demonic comrade who has become a bandit, and now unsuspecting travelers.
Miskowitz is A place that will surprise you with its small size and quirky content. For me, Miskowitz earns the place here for a fusion of lively brawls and heart-pounding storytelling, making it a memorable stop on your journey.
3
bylany
Bellator’s starting point
Most Kuttenberg towns are sleepy, and Bylany is no exception. But it stands out because it stands out. Because it starts the Bellatores side quest when he meets Jan Pozy of Zimburg, a knight desperate to save his brother.
You agree to help him, and you will jump into a rescue mission with incredible depth and reward.
What’s more, if you’re hunting some dragonborns, The fun little dragon hideout quest is also available here.

Gateway to Kuttenberg
Sutsdol Bookends Kuttenberg Adventure and hosts both the beginning of your journey and the month-long siege of the fort that ends it. After running from Trosky you will be greeted by Peter’s Peter at his fort.
This warm welcome is a slice of unusual comfort you didn’t know you needed, and you’ll find yourself back here on quite a few occasions.
The village is bustling with merchants in every corner Then you’ll start a Primum Nil Nocere quest tied to Thunderstone, which tests your medication know-how.

Kuttenberg City
The capital of quests and commerce
The main city of Kattenberg is at the top of the list for good reason. The city is like that Every corner is packed with merchants, citizens and quests. Here, we will assist most of our time with ground NPCs and winding underground tunnels.
Skills teachers, taverns and baths fill the city with life. Major quests such as Italian Job and King Gambit unfold here, meeting unforgettable characters such as Menhart and Caspardorf.
The rising churches, vast markets and hidden passages all make Kattenberg feel like a city in which he lives. Its scale and rich details capture the true spirit of medieval Bohemia.
