When it comes to the lack of allies or companions in the game, it can often feel lonely. That’s why some of the best games that don’t offer dating or allies are horror titles that want to use that feeling of isolation against you.
Of course, there are also some great RPGs that offer little or no alliance to help you on your journey.
These are some of my favorite games. Because I enjoy a good single-player experience that you don’t provide or need help watching someone else.
If the game has several optional Allied NPCs and you can complete the game without assistance, its inclusion will not be ignored.

Elden Ring
There’s no one in the land in the meantime
To be fair, we can say that Eldenling has allies. Because you can summon NPCs to help you during boss battles. Meanwhile, you can complete the entire game without using alliances to show off your skills.
Deciding to play the game without allies even if towing, you’ll get a much more difficult experience with a title like this Souls, but this struggle is rewarding if you can defeat a large number of bosses in the game.
I love Eldenling and I think it fits, so I often play the game without help, so it really gives you that lonely feeling when you try to find your way in the lands in between. I rank it this low just because you have the opportunity to get help if you are chosen so and no one judges you. i promise.

forest
Loneliness and cannibalism
Being trapped in the forest makes you feel lonely. There’s no one around, your voice echoing through the trees, hungry cannibalistic worship trying to eat your face.
In the forest, you are trapped in a forest with mutant cannibalism and must survive the impossible odds. The crafting system is well implemented and most importantly, you will feel alone and you will need to see every move you make. There are no Allies who are coming to save you.
The sequel to the Forest, called Sons of the Forest, is also one of the best looking survival games I’ve personally played, and if you’re feeling good and scary, I would recommend either.

Taro’s Principles
Solve puzzles on your own
There is something about Talos’ principle that makes you feel more lonely in the world. Maybe it’s the fact that you are Android. Maybe it has something to do with the vacancies on the island you found.
This game is full of ways to confuse you and twist your mind. Some puzzles show pretty basic what you find in the portal, but not in a good way.
Throughout the game, you have no allies to help you on your journey, and all puzzles have to be solved by yourself. That being said, knowing that you have completed it all yourself and reaching the end is extremely rewarding.

Alien: Separation
Quarantine by alien
There’s nothing more frightening than being trapped in a space station without anyone asking for help, especially when you have a bloodthirsty alien tracking you down. Without a doubt, the isolation of the alien gives you that sense of loneliness and no one will save you.
This game is great at making anyone feel like they’re not coming to your aid. The main drawback is that the game has an overwhelming ending and escaping the Xenomorph can be frustrating due to its one-hit kill nature.
I remember playing this game on an Xbox 360 with Kinect motion tracking. This was a truly surreal experience when I did the character’s head movements while still. It was a bit nauseous at times, but it was still a great experience.

Dead Space 2
Xenomorphs is not a great company
When it comes to feeling lonely, Dead Space 2 is the game I go to. Every corner, your allies are dying, and you need to find a way to escape before you meet your destiny.
The game continues the story from the first dead space, and after awakening from a coma on a space station called the Sprawl, you place you in Isaac Clark’s shoes. Dead Space 2 is full of puzzles, intense battle moments, and the general eerie that keeps you at extremes.
Dead Space Games has a way of making you feel alone by killing everyone who may be perceived as an ally, leaving you alone in the dark without anyone asking for help. The overall junkiness and maneuverability of the puzzle is everything I can say about the game.

Bloodborne
Fear, blood, loneliness
Software titles don’t offer much help, and there are ways to make you feel lonely. What stands out among these in particular is bloodborne.
Bloodborne originally offered no help to you. Each boss’ battle had to be won by exhaustion and self-determination, making each boss feel like a great achievement when he ultimately defeated it.
This has changed with the addition of the old Hunter DLC, but it is undoubtedly one of the best DLCs, offering summonable allies to support boss fights, but the original version of this title has become stronger as one of the best ones that can be played without allies.
4
Portal
Test it yourself
One of the previous titles is a portal that didn’t give you any kind of relationship (unless you count the companion cubes you burned). Throughout the game, you will be forced to complete a test of sadistic robots that will constantly laugh at you.
There is no friendship to be discovered, no one is to help you, and the most wonderful words with you are, “You’re not a good person. You know that, right?”
Portal is an amazing puzzle game for anyone wanting to test their problem-solving skills. I would have included Portal 2 instead, but Grades is accompanied by me as a reluctant ally in some parts of the game, but I didn’t sit with me because of this list.

fear
My nightmare will be real
If you’ve never heard of fear, you know that this game is the reason why many people are afraid to see little girls with long dark hair – and the ring.
Throughout the game, there are only a few missions you have allies, but they are quickly dispatched and left to die the fate of the horrifying paranormal.
Spending most of the game on its own, allies you meet are immediately used as a flesh shield or become victims of the entities you are tracking. It’s a thrilling game that takes a lot of turns and I recommend it to anyone who likes horror games and action movies.
Fear is largely suppressed by technology at the time, and a complete remake of the game could possibly be a huge success. You can enhance some story beats with script rewrites.

Returnal
I was trapped in a cycle
Being stuck in an infinite cycle is never fun, it’s even worse when you’re forced to do it alone, as you’re the only person who understands the cycle is going on and trapped on an alien planet. Welcome to Returnal.
After collisions on an alien planet, you are forced to use tools at your disposal to withstand waves of unknown creatures and environmental effects. I’m not usually a fan of the Roguelike title, but the complex, ever-changing world and intriguing stories really stand out for me.
Returnal is one of the games that make you feel lonely thanks to being forced to discover a world without dating thanks to an endless cycle. And many deaths. In other words, a lot.

Resident Evil 8
Vampire and werewolf, ah
The Resident Evil series is known for leaving you on your own. Most games often search for dilapidated places and hope to find a living person who can help you.
That being said, the series reinforced the general distraught feelings a bit when Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 8 were released.
Both games follow the story of Ethan Winters as he searches for his wife and daughter. Both Ethan is alone, but Resident Evil 8 gives him even more helplessness than his predecessor, making the game even better.
The village is full of scenarios where you want to have an ally to help you. Alas, the closest you get is a cheerful merchant where you can buy goods from. Despite a lack of peers, Resident Evil 8 is not restrained by anything except for its loose connections with other franchises.
